ABOUT US
      Karen Taylor MSN, RN, CIC is an infection control consultant with over 35 years of experience and is a recognized educator and speaker on the subject of Infection Control.  Ms. Taylor consults with and provides compliance monitoring for dental offices and oral surgery centers throughout CT and MA.  
     Karen is a member of OSAP (Organization for Safety and Asepsis and Prevention) ,  The Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC),  The infection Control Professionals of Southern New England (ICPSNE) and the Infection Control Nurses of CT (ICNC),

      Ms. Taylor served on the CT DPH, Healthcare Associated Infections, and LTC Clostridium Difficiele prevention collaborative planning committee. She was a member of the CT DPH food safety committee. and has participated in CDC CT based research studies.
      Ms. Taylor worked as a corporate infection control specialist , overseeing more than 30 healthcare facilities in CT, RI and MA.
      Ms. Taylor has also worked as a clinical nursing instructor at Gateway Community College and as a nursing professor at Southern Connecticut State University .
